It Doesn’t Mean I Don’t Love You Poem by Bethany King

It Doesn’t Mean I Don’t Love You

It doesn’t mean I don’t love you
That I’ll leave you or forget
Our time is ending its true
But the love I don’t regret

It Hurts It does
But I don’t feel it no more
I don’t feel the love
I would rather be poor

Then be with someone with no love
And to care with no precipitation
I’d rather fly away
Then be manipulated

You stoped saying you love me
That you miss or you care
It breaks me so I don’t feel free
And the love was never their

What should I think?
And what should I feel
All I need is a drink
And a fair deal

I thought you were the one
But I swear we are drifting
I can’t feel you no more
Are you even real?

You mean the world
That’s why I cry
Left open and dying
That’s what I feel inside
