It Don't Bother Me Poem by Lore Me34

It Don't Bother Me

I say her words don't bother me.
When she tells others I am lazy and fat.
I say it don't bother me.
I once heard her tell someone I use my disability as a crutch.
I just smiled and said it don't bother me.
She took a picture and covered up a poem I wrote her.
I shrugged it off and said it don't bother me.
She was never there when I won awards;
and often made me feel as if my accomplishment did not matter.
I tell my friends that it don't bother me.
But true be told... It all bothers me.
