It Never Leaves Poem by dun one

It Never Leaves

Rating: 5.0

One by one
We march into the sun
Day by day rising
Light shines
Through the leaves of good company
Shuffling through the square
Now time
For laughter and swinging free
No matter the matter
Time of pitter patter
Birds and bees in a winter breeze
Curtains swaying free
Window sill full of empty
Jackets bouncing from bar to car
Bricks plastered to the apartments side
Night time its still here
Streetlight romance is her dear
Birds and the bees in a summer breeze
Flowers everywhere even the stars
We lie washed up sleepy eyed
It’s still here by our side
It’s in the breeze
It never leaves
