It rained again, like never before,
Swept away anxiety and pain,
Works delayed but gave ease,
Faces beaming with smile and
Eyes reflecting with hope.
Leaves rippled with air like,
Interwoven with drops,
Swinging its bow with melodious music,
Drops tapping above the roof, added more charm in it,
Ears poured with unending soothing echoes,
It rained again like never before,
Filled the meadow, perched the earth.
Once a time was, heart full of emotion,
Afraid of none, lived a life of own,
Where we made home of clay,
Protected it with little fingers from its sway,
Shouted and sang with our boat away.
Gone are days, Longings remained,
Sitting on arm chair, thinking of those days,
When nothing got delayed due to rain,
Goodbye parting rain, Come Again.
South Africa is experiencing drought at the moment, so I very much appreciate the essence of the poem. Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely brought forth in good diction with insight. Thanks for sharing Madhvi. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.

Good use of imagery and diction, the poem shows a lively picture of rains in our country specially in rainy season. A good poem.
