It's A Good Day For A Divorce

the sun is shining
my boots
were greased last night and shine
as the snow fails to stick on them
the chaffing below my waistline
has ceased,
the cotton ball clouds
decorate the deep blue canvas
and I have $110 in my pocket
with rent paid.
