Escaping from reality
Away from the place you are
Upcoming anxiety
Your mind is in a war
Never get to feel that way
And keep promising me everyday
“It will all be over soon”
Knowing it’s not true
She tells me it will be alright
Knowing it’s a lie
In my head, a firefight
Knowing I will die
