The steam curls from my coffee in deep licks
Gently cajoled by the dry, crisp autumn air.
Your eyes blue and wide are everywhere.
Tranquility settles in this old, early morning heart.
It's easy to love you because of such peace.
Storms now blow pass my place by the sea.
No more spinning havoc and tumultuous roar,
No longer wring of my heart at Antigone's choice.
Duty and love's struggle are at long last pacified.
It's easy to love you because of such peace.
