It's Groundhog Day - Poem by Debbie Bongiovanni
It's Groundhog Day,
And we're all waiting for Phil,
To poke out from his hole,
So let's be very still.
Did he see his shadow?
He will let us know,
For if he did then we're in store,
For a lot more snow.
But if he didn't,
Winter will be gone,
And spring will be coming,
And we can sing that song.
So let's give Phil,
A great big cheer,
He's done his job,
And we'll see him again next year.
