You see my tears,
But you don't react.

You see my cuts,
But you don't believe.

You see me,
But you don't look.

You don't look at what's under all this pain.

I can be happy.
I can smile.
I can laugh.
I can giggle.
I can hug.
I can love.
I can kiss.
I can do,
Just as much as you.

You think I'm depressed all the time.
That isn't true.
Especially when I'm with you.

I'm not always down,
I'm sometimes up.

I can seem high at times,
But I'm just happy to be with you.

I know I like to be alone,
But I like to be with someone too.

I don't always enjoy
Being me.

It gets hard.

All the pain.
All the pills.
All the hatred.

You might think it's easy to be me,
But it's harder than you think.

You have to remind yourself,
To breath at times,
To take your pills each day,
To not kill yourself.

Like I said,
It's harder than you think.
