It’s The Thought That Counts Poem by Lilibeth Apat

It’s The Thought That Counts

It’s not the big things that matter
It’s not the price of the gift you bring
It’s not how costly the card is
That makes the giving more sincere.

It’s not the kind of flower
That a bouquet should be composed
It’s not even how many roses
Or how red or white be the rose.

What matters is the effort you put into
To make the gift unique, profound
It’s the heart’s desire to make a person happy
That makes the joy of giving more sublime.

The real virtue of life, how much is the concern, how intense is the love, that counts not the money being spent while giving. Good thought nice poem
