It Took Me A Year To Forget - Poem by yamilex nunez

It took me more than a year to think
to understand, to feel how to be free,
it took me more than a year to let you go,
to forget you,
to understand that you never loved me,
to understand that i never needed you to hold me back, to take me down,
to make me feel like nothing, but now i´m free, free, free to fly a way to where ever i want
to make my dreams come true, to fly, fly, fly a way, a way to be free
like i should be,
i don´t need you anymore, i don´t feel nothing for you anymore
because i´m free, free, free to fly a way, a way, to fly a way! ! ! ! !
