It Was A War Poem by madison roberts

It Was A War

It was a war
Best friends against best friends
Over something neither even cared about
And it never ended
It followed the friends around years later.
It would tap them on the shoulder and introduce itself and it would knock on their doors and ask for sugar, like a friendly neighbor
And it never ended
Over something neither even cared about
Best friends against best friends
It was a war
