It Was But For A Moment

Every time I see
your face the rush that
goes through me is like
the first time I
saw u.when the
champaign bottle of
feelings got poped
and you kept it
pouring until the
glass filled to the brim.
I remnisce and wonder?
At how things would
be like, had we held on a little
longer.I try 2 erase
but my wounds feel
fresh.Coverup but the
winds of the
times we shared
unveils it all.And am
back in the moment
when you held me
and i fell asleep in your arms,
back to when walking
the streets without your
hand in mine didnt exist.
You were my
blanket in winter,
the breeze in
summer,
the light that shone in my
dreams.
You put out the light
on our love,
was good while it lasted.
Did not look back, the
horizon promised you beauty.
Hope
you found the pot
of gold at that
rainbows end.
Crying a river did not sink
the titanic but instead created
the victoria falls.It has
chilled out my love
flowing down that cliff
but the heat is get to strong
and too muci to bear by
the time you realise.
It would have been swept out by the current of a sad heart.
