It Was The Wrong Choice Poem by Carike Klokow

It Was The Wrong Choice

Tears streaming down my face
heart beating at rapid pace
As i sit alone in the rain
i dropp my head in shame

I could've helped you
but i ran away
I could've convinced
you to stay
But fear got me down
and in my sorrows i drown

It wasn't right from the start
i felt the pin go through my heart
I told you let's just leave right now
but this you would not allow

So here i sit and cry alone
without you there is no more home
you made the wrong choice
and forever silenced your voice
