It Was This Big Poem by Raz Nicholson

It Was This Big

Her smile made snow remind me
of fallen leaves.
The mischief in her eyes,
would put the big bang straight to sleep.
She read my soul's disclaimer, and
laughed from beginning to the end,
then walked away, now just a footnote
barely legible in my own hand.
