It Will Become Poem by Katherine Mclaughlin

It Will Become

Taking for granted
no one sees the real thing
the wind swoops north
as the forests sing

we wait patiently
as we let slowly go
to what nature use to be
in the future they'll never know

beauty is grasped
by only the true see'ers
the world is hurting
but lets go of so little tears

slowing down, we take another look
turning the page, reading another book

life can be short
but not if its lived to the best
make the world a better place
and it will then do the rest
