It's Alright Little Darling Poem by Shirley Harrison

It's Alright Little Darling

It's alright little darling

dry your solemn tears

tomorrow is another day

and tomorrow

will be yesterday's year

Your tears, worthy for your loss

but now it's time to stop

put your pretty head up high

with the rain, the sun you'll swap

and for every tear you've cried

your heart, I know has surely burst

but I promise you my darling

you've now come through the worst

It's alright little darling

dry your solemn tears

tomorrow is another day

and tomorrow

will be yesterday's year.
