It's No Bettr Anywhere Poem by Raymond Farrell

It's No Bettr Anywhere

In the quasi-educated circles of the West
The condescending who think they know best
Speak in hushed tones about the state of the world today
The irreversible downward trends and the glaciers melting away
But none of these folks in their worst nightmares can conceive
What it's going to be like when reality trumps what people believe
All the glaciers having melted and the rivers run dry
To see much of humanity up and die
Chaos reigning.as people run here and there
Only to find, in the end, it's no better anywhere
