It's You I Swear

Rating: 1.0

When I met you,
I had a conversation with my backbone.
Pinky swear, told the leaves not to tell,
The sun to memorize that day,
My eyes captured art from their lenses.

If it's not you then, I've got no rib,
If you're not the one, then the would never be one.
Like ocean waves singing melodies,
Like enchanting leaves whispering wisdom,
You bring my life in an art form.

You kiss my transgressions with ease,
My flaws are perfect in you,
You make nights freeze like the dead of a woman if absent,
Days are void and null,
I've learnt to live life with you not beside you.

Shooting stars, breaks the silence,
Its beautiful how you curl me with your fingers,
How your morning breath lives in the memory of my lips.

For once I slept without dreams,
For you were never in my arms,
Are you my dream fairy?

Sad songs makes no sense,
Every love song reminds me if you,
I dream about you in different colors,
In the church yard of love,
You are the prophetess.

If I say I love you,
I feel like it's an understatement,
I had been saying the phrase with heart,
For you I choose not to say.

If there is life without you, I do not wanna live it.
If there is happiness without you, I do not want it.
If there's freedom without you, I do not want it either.
