Jack The Dragon Catcher Poem by grace mariner

Jack The Dragon Catcher

A beautiful jester named Jack
with Sir Rusty who wore white and black,
in his pockets would bring
bugs, rocks and some string
to prepare for the dragons attack.
The dragon, Von Waffles Les' Paws
was known for his very sharp claws.
He'd watch and he'd slink
and he'd cause quite a stink,
as he'd challenge and break all the laws!
Jack was known to be artful and quick
with his sword that he made from a stick.
With Sir Rusty in tow
on adventures they'd go
with hopes that Von Waffles to trick.
His legend was known through the land
as in battle he'd take quite a stand.
And Sir Rusty would lead
as they'd battle the fiend
who was terrifying all of the land!
The battles would always be quick
as Von Waffles was so very slick.
He'd lay and he'd wait
then jump over the gate,
afraid of Sir Jack and his stick!
And so the great legend lives on
as Sir Jack and Sir Rusty keep on.
Always doing their best,
in their dragon hunt quest
until the next battle comes 'long.
