Jaded Poem by Grace Galeon

Jaded

On a tame night thoughts running through one's mind
Thoughts not of the softness of one's pillow on the bed
But of the sound of relish instead

Yet one couldn't grasp the bitterness within
How a mirthful sound became so irritatin'
Wishing one to stop hearin'

Praying these thoughts to vanish in one's mind
And a heart that is always kind
