By Siryn Beowulf
Against men fought the monster Drake,
The men whose bones will break,
Drake's bones wont break,
Only, those of men.
Against the great hall Drake raged,
For the men, they were caged,
Until came the heroic mage,
His name, was Jadoo,
From faraway lands, Jadoo came,
And he brought with him a spell to tame,
The man-killer, the demon-rame,
Who was meant to burn in hell.
Swiftly at him, Drake sprang,
To impale him with his fang,
Then Jadoo held his staff high,
And used it, to defang.
Then Drake lay defenceless,
And realised he lived life friendless,
And so the men he once scared senseless,
Crowded around him, seemingly endless.
At him, all of them lunged
And into him, their swords plunged,
Through his body of dank and grunge,
To burst his cold. black heart
