I've missed you everyday
since that day you walked away.
I felt hurt and not okay
when you ignored my needs of support in every way.
I was there for you,
I trusted and believed in you
for all those wonderful things you do.
But were you that friend
I thought was too good to be true?
Deep inside I bet you knew.
I'll have to be careful
with those friends I try to make
because they might take my heart to break.
I'd still sacrifice myself for you
and to my heart a steak I'd take.
All of this just for your sake.
And to show I really care
for you always will I be there.
Through thick and thin
you'll always be my friend
until and even through the end.
