Midnight Change Poem by Hayden Walstrom

Midnight Change

I walk through this dark forest
in the midnight mist
not knowing what lurks.
I hear nothing,
but see dark shadows
running fast.
Wondering how long my life will last,
I think about the things of the past.
Memories flash past before me
as I look to the blood red eclipse above.
I feel a sharp pain,
it soon will consume my entirely.
As I feel it leave,
It turns me into something beautiful...
