On Janmashtami
Saw I mythical Krishna
With mythical Yasoda,
An imagery draped in celestial colours
So idyllic, classical and devotional
Taking to the unheard lore of Krishna
Learnt through hearsays
Folks whispering in the country
And the Yamuna banks swirling with
To be a part of that mesmerizing gossip, divine spectacle.
