Japan's Tsunami Poem by Arfa Iris

Japan's Tsunami

The tsunami of japan,
turned cities into trash can.
thousands were left homeless,
lot more at the peck of turmoil and distress.
everywhere, scattered were the corpse,
some floated on the water, some tangled in the ropes.
people struggled to save dear one,
but had no place to hide or run.
water-water everywhere around.
the cities were turned into pond.
people stood close and clutched together.
tried in vain to face the furry of weather.
some saved others risking their lives,
but many died, after continuous strive.
many are left alone behind,
solace and peace where will they find?
how will they come out of ordeal?
how will their wounds heal?
oh, lord! your anger so destructing!
forgive, and give them strength to start a new beginning.........
