Jesus's Lord Poem by Imaanah Saleem

Jesus's Lord

I call upon The Lord Jesus called,
Because it seems like the right thing to do.

After all, if Jesus needed It,
Why wouldn't I need It too?

I call upon The Lord Jesus called,
Because That Lord is True.
And I am certain that—
If he could—
Jesus would tell me himself,
"Sorry. Can't help you."

I call on Jesus's father,
Because his father is also mine.

His father is the father of all.
The Father of mankind.
