Jesus Teach Me Poem by Barbara Blevins

Jesus Teach Me

People saying I instead of you,
Jesus teach me to speak and what to do.
People saying I did, I did,
When it should be you instead.
All praise and glory belong to the Lord,
Speak and sing in chorus, not off chord.
Jesus teach me to give you praise in word and in song,
We not thinking give ourselves praise which is wrong.
There is power in every word spoken,
Change I to you and a notch in satan's chain is broken.
Power and praise is returned to the rightful belonger,
Jesus teach me and I will be stronger.
