To live in faith, one must believe!
The Living One, on high
Wary of those who would deceive
Who’d cause to wonder why
Such scoundrels and devils wander
Down road and country lane
Both near and far out yonder
To prove one’s faith in vain
Polluting one’s soul, God’s servants mind
Hearts in Jesus in love
Causing one doubt, deaf, lost and blind
To guidance from above
Beware of those with whom you speak
Ponder what others say
Is it your welfare that they seek?
Or cause your thoughts to sway
Let no foul seed, set down its root
To blossom, growing doubt
Damaging faith, true love, life’s fruit
That Heavenward would sprout
Not all, who will come before you
Perhaps awhile to spend
Will appreciate your righteous view
Or be to you a friend
Make love, your basis, truth your path
Heaven’s message to spread
Saving sinners from pending wrath
Raising the walking dead
Let Christ alone be true life’s guide
Greet all life’s storms with smiles
Let God’s Holy Ghost dwell inside
To help through life’s trials…..
