Jfk Jr. - Poem by Candie Saldana

They told me today that you were gone
the words flung towards me like spears
I wanted so much to dodge them, not wanting to hear the truth
but truth be told, as it often is, and sadness followed

Tears to be shed and grieving starts
so often the cycle of life
learning more and liking it less, can't leave people to rest
reports of this and reports of that
doesn't change the given facts

A prince? No way some say
But a prince he is for me, he was to me...is gone
and the horses of Camelot run wild...
