John Doe Poem by L.T Sanders

John Doe

We all love to celebrate the life of the brave and courageous.
But who truly cares about the departure of the nameless faces.
The victims of a lack of information.
Drowning in society’s pool because they never received the proper education.
See you’re not a functional member of society if you don’t possess a thorough occupation.
So in the street is where their feet beat the concrete constantly battling temptation.
To eat they will destroy blindly walking in the bliss of self mutilation.
Shrines and plaques for the brave and courageous scattered all across the nation.
In the morgue under John doe or a shallow grave lie’s the nameless faces.
