Joie De Vivre Poem by Mutonye wa Mutuku - B.M the Poet

Joie De Vivre

O Relia, joy that sets my soul aglow,
I miss our games where verses spin and play,
Your teasing wit, the spark that steals the show,
Each rhyme a dance, a step in sweet ballet.
Your naughty smile, a mischief soft yet bold,
The way you pinch my ears with tender glee,
Like whispered notes in melodies untold,
A touch that lingers, laughing back at me.
I miss the dreams we shape in playful air,
The dances yet to waltz beneath the moon,
The games we vow to craft beyond compare,
Where time and space will never end too soon.
So come, my muse, let's rhyme, let's laugh, let's twirl,
For joy is you—my poem, my playful girl.
