Jonah Poem by Patrick O'Reilly

Jonah

Rating: 1.5

My starving self swallowed you whole
And still
You are digesting in that sloppy, dark pit
And it is most often in the middle
Of the hot, airless night
That thin shards of your bones
Stab me
