One step over another
I started moving on my feet
In time, I found myself
walking in a path to my life
Unknown to the things that lie ahead
I began the journey of time...

Stood still at some times
confused over the diversions I found
Waited for someone to hold my hand
and walk me over in right direction
Wished for a person to walk with me
in the rough journey for happiness...

Stumbling over in time
I found both happiness and sorrow
But nothing remained for a second
to feel the warmth in it
Craving for more, I dragged my soul
fading in time through the journey of life...

Not knowing where the end lies
I pushed myself hard at it
Gained and lost hopes in life
moving along with the running time
I walked swiftly in search of light
that marks the end of my journey...
