My journey towards you
Started since the day
I was born.
The paths were turbulent
And sometimes smooth and easy
Looking at my desires
They termed me crazy.
They said, I was possessed
Since my birth.
Though I did not know you then
Yet crazily towards you
I moved.
Somewhere deep inside me
There was an urge
To mingle with you
Till my identity is submerged
Behind the vastness of your surge.
I wandered and wondered
At the mystic touch
That your name awakened in all.
From moment to moment
From days to days
I uncontrollably ran
For a little glimpse of your face.
Once in my teens
Rarely by chance
We had a brief meeting
But you were on heels since then
Even in my youthful days
You never had been out of my mind.
But they said I had been a victim
Of immature love.
Everything that belonged to you fascinated me
The depth of your vision and
The darkness of your eyes;
Your tender touch, and
The mysterious musk.
Who can meet you before the destined time?
Though I knew it was an inevitable journey
I never knew when my travailing is going to end
I paid no heed to what the people say of me
It is a journey that I dare not to disagree.
It seems that your journey is towards sublimity.A confession before a mirror.Very nice!
