Joyful In Afflictions Poem by Cindy Wyatt

Joyful In Afflictions

With failing health and infirmity
Christ's strength is my all sufficiency
The time when I am weak is the time when I am strong
since Jesus never leaves me and carries me along
He holds me in his arms and keeps me in his loving care
speaking sweet words of comfort so of his presence I am aware
I will be joyful when in need and in affliction's valley
For I know that is when Christ's power rests on me
The Lord's wonderful grace is sufficient to carry me through
As I cling to His word that is everlasting and true
His word is ever faithful from beginning to end
and of being in his constant care I can always depend

II Corinthians 12: 10(KJV) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christs sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
