Judgement... Poem by Khalid Hameed

I am not what it seems
but I am what it doesn’t seem
don’t make your judgement about me
when you don’t even know anything about me
and don’t even want to know me,
sometimes I am right
sometimes, I may be wrong
not intentionally,
and believe me, I don’t mean any harm
I still say things, may sound wrong
not by design,

Don’t leave me hanging out to dry
when you didn’t even let me try,
to fulfill your desires,
and extinguish your inner fires
I live for everyone every day
never given chance to live,
for my own sake, my own way
I’ve been pushed around,
I’ve been pushed aside,
ignored, abandoned
and not explored, emotionally
never seen light in sight
always been surrounded by a large crowd
deep down I am just a lonely cloud
wandering from place to place
loneliness is internal,
pain is eternal,
fame is temporary,
love is unattainable
misery is sustainable,
disability is all around,
but don’t forget!
it is not a crime,
unless your heart is full of
darkness and slime

I feel like an equation
that can’t be solved,
but if you love me much
maybe my soul will get absolved
from burdens, of not having you
around,
I want to be a lover of you
I don’t want to accuse,
that you don’t love me
Neither do I want to be accused,
of not loving you
life is not what it is seems,
you may look very happy
but inside it is nothing but
an empty dream
