Jungle Path Poem by Frederick Stadler

Jungle Path

Path away from home;
In the jungle we roam.
So far so fast so free,
Running you and me.

A delight of flowers,
A call of birds,
Nature's showers
Falling on the herds.

Animals grazing,
The path well lit
By sunlight chasing
The monkeys run fit.

A waterfall ends our journey,
A call to go on sturdy.
Crashing droplets fall,
A beckoning water's call.

An air balloon then lands
By the river bed sands.
Out comes a woman, a friend,
'We're going home, get in! '
