Just A Dream Poem by ELVIS LIME

Just A Dream

On a bright sunny summer day
Silently and calmly on the lounge I laid
My head and eyes sharply focused on an imaginary vision
Slowly by slowly I alienated myself into a dream
A sweet luxurious dream

A young man with sophisticated taste I became
It was not just an ambition but a dream, come true
An epitome of style I was
Dressing oozed fashion with expensive watches
An opulent man I was
A beacon of hope I was
In my sweet luxurious dream

Palatial mansions and bungalows of great Asian architectural designs I owned,
Enriched international business meetings became my daily routine,
Rare edition of vintage wines while engaging in little sophisticated talks about investments,
A rich man I was
In my sweet luxurious dream

Comfort on the lounge made the dream even more luxurious
But, the more the comfort the more the more the risk
Slowly by slowly on the lounge I rolled
Rolled and rolled
Suddenly, puff!
On the hard floor I fell
My dream came an end
A sweet luxurious dream in deed
