Just A Touch Poem by BASAB CHAUDHURI

Just A Touch

Just a touch
and I could spring up to life.
I started flowing like a fountain,
sprinkling all around.

Gradually I reached the wet bulb;
I cooled down
the leaves, the flowers, the marble statue—
moistened, glittering, soothed.

Just a touch
made all the difference.

I felt reborn.
