Just A Vapor In The Wind Poem by Storm Pedersen

Just A Vapor In The Wind

Am I just a vapor in the wind?
No one seems to listen
No one seems to care
No one seems to see me
No one will talk to me
It’s as if I’m not even there
It’s as if I’m last year’s fruit cake
Left and forgotten
It’s as if I’m Casper the ghost
Maybe I am a nobody
It’s as if I’m a dropp in the ocean
As if I’m a broken string on a rundown guitar
As if I’m a page that’s been torn
As if I’m a lost sock in the laundry
As if I’m just a pile of dust
Swept up and thrown away
Or maybe I am indeed
Just a vapor in the rain
