Just Another Bad Dream Poem by Erin Stoll

Just Another Bad Dream

As I sat by a dying man's side,
He took my hand in his and said ' Don't you cry! I'll see you again! '
He gently kissed my forehead, he laid back down and closed his eyes!
I felt a tear run down my cheek as he said it again!
He wiped my tears from my face and said ' It's time for me to go now! '
I seen the Angels come from the Heavens to get his soul.
I laid my head on his chest as I cried myself to sleep!
I felt his arms wrapped around me
' Wake up! ' He said
As I thought to myself
' Just Another Bad Dream! '
