Just Another Day

JUST ANOTHER DAY

Cold on a winter day
Sitting on the street
With nothing to eat
Asking for money
With nothing in my tummy
I look in my pot
Only a dollar I’ve got
I got up
To go to a near by shop
All I got was a pop
It did not fill me up
I go back to my box
It is nowhere to be seen
Someone has stolen it perhaps
Or it’s in the trash
Just another day
For a poor person I say
