Just Another Teen's Meaningless Poem Poem by Born Frustrated

Just Another Teen's Meaningless Poem

Rating: 5.0

I look out the window and see the birds perched along the wall,
Some sit and sing, others fly right by,
Such a beautiful day, but I have to ask myself
Why do I cry?

Why does this one, lonely tear, wander away
From my blue eye
I guess it must have been yesterday
And, how I saw her standing there

With my friends it was nothing,
But now, alone, my heart is ablaze
Burning from within my chest
She looked at me, and I met her gaze

...But then she quickly turned away, pretending she didn't know me,
And laughed with her friends, but I kept watch out of the corner of my eye,
We use to laugh and joke, about her heart, and how I held the key,
...Well I guess that lock has been changed, I just wish I could make her smile one last time

In my view it won't be right to call this poem a meaningless poem as it is truly a good poem and it is a very touching poem. I like it.
