Just Be Friends Poem by Dan Brown

Just Be Friends

Rating: 2.3

Body language says it all.
Setting me up for the hardest fall.
Avoided my eyes.
Recited your lies.
Voice a guilty mumble.
I begin first stumble.
Can’t prepare, though.
For killer blow.
And shockwaves it sends.
“Lets just be friends.'
