Just Be Yourself I Think, Is Still My Best Foot Forward
if i set my standards high
i may be defeating myself
if i walk too fast
my feet may be left somewhere
in the mud
if i put my best foot forward
it may not be the
best
it may even be the worst
i just want to be myself
my best or my worst
whatever
that you must accept
i am looking for the gate
that says
Know Thyself
and the one that says
By All Means You are Accepted
then i press
