Just Be - Poem by Bridget Bush

Warm beautiful day
the clouds slowly passing by
I'm on teh porch
with bare feet
sitting with a blank mind
the sunshine warms my face
the wind tickles my arms
my hair is flowing across my eyes
I love this feeling of content
letting my mind sweep away in the wind
the glowing gold of sunshine
a spotlight on the page
letting me perform for myself
my emotions set in ink
I am happy to just be
and feel all that surrounds me
so I sit here and do not think
I sit here and just be
