Just Had To
Just had to write.
Don't have any particular message
or words of wisdom.
No down, low feelings of despair,
no emotion of any kind.
Just had to write something
to keep me in tune.
No great urge to go on and on forever,
just words to say - I wrote today.
It's no big deal.
Nothing special.
Just words on paper.
I haven't written in about a month,
and ya see -
I just had to.
