Just Know Thyself Poem by Kris Viscardini

Just Know Thyself

Rating: 5.0

Know thyself, nothing in excess
enjoy the caress
without any stress.

Don't be a puppet on a string
relax, do your own thing
driven by attraction
fulfilling your right action
feeling perfect satisfaction.

Be sure and know you can
be mystic like a Franciscan
relaxing in the ease
of being Lou or Louise

Embrace your sacred side
and never try to hide
the churning, yearning pang
weaving yin and yang.

You are anima and animus
a minus and a plus
pure Shiva and Shakti
and joy eternal ecstacy.

So be a willing sharer
whether Sam or Sarah
remember "Know Thyself"
and nothing in excess.

Eat and drink in memory of me.
