Just Me And You Poem by Daniel Martins

Just Me And You

Lock eyes from across the room
When I saw your face
My heart stoped and so did time and space

Down'd my drink and head'd towards you
I asked for a dance or two
I asked if you wanted to go to a calmer place
You said 'What's the rush? We're not in a race'

The time went by flying
And we were the last ones that were still dancing
The party was over
So we went outside chating while watching the moon as it went higher

I finaly got your name
We kissed each other for a moment or two
And I realized that this wasn't just a game
I realized that now it was just me and you
